Sports-fishing enthusiasts and seafood lovers will enjoy the 56th Antigua & Barbuda Sport Fishing Tournament, based in historic Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This annual Caribbean event is a popular fishing competition held in Antigua and Barbuda, and attracts anglers from all over who come to test their skills in catching all types of fish. At the end, prizes are awarded for the biggest catches.
The atmosphere makes this a perfect weekend-long event for family and friends with live music, food and drinks and a variety of other activities for attendees to take part in. Visitors also have the chance to purchase some of the freshest seafood around after the tournament with whole fish for sale by the committee from the fish stall.
